i think you'll find 02 curvys aren't going to fetch you that much money i'm afraid. even in mint condition, which is probably why you've had replies here yet. check out what others of similar age, mileage etc. have gone for before i would suggest

Chris & Chefums,
Might I point you to the guidelines (http://forums.sv650.org/announcement.php?f=113&a=97), specifically the "Unsolicited Advice" section.

Meh they may aswell help the fella price the bike to sell instead of leaving him bumping the thread for weeks on end wondering why no-one is buying it...

Only if he asked for advice on the price, which he didnt....

Ahh well. It's a slippery slope, letting 'rules' get in the way of being helpful

But its not helpful. Its just filling up the thread with cr*p and sometimes as in this case it upsets the original poster. This guy was a newbie and all you lot have done is upset him and drive him off the forum. Not exactly welcoming or helpful is it.
If you saw a bike in the paper woudl you ring the seller and say
"I'm not interested in buying your bike, but by the way the price you want for it is to expensive"
I know that I wouldnt.
Its not stupid rule or a rule for the sake of having a rule. Its been put into place because in the past many threads became derailed with bickering and childish comments over price.
