Went for a ride today with James to the Ponderosa Cafe and met up with Slark and Christopher for a brew and a chat. It was a great day and good company.

Slark and his new mount, a very tidy GSXR600

christopher's SV with a nice sounding Yoshi pipe although the practically straight through GSXR750 exhaust was a touch louder (they heard it back in Warrington)

My sv after the tank transplant, the tank says it's canyon on the underside but it looks like lively when compared to the other mixed panels I have, better looking than red though :-)

Fuel tank hospital. As you can tell from the one at the back it's turned turtle and is dead. The red one's now my spare and then I have the lively/canyon one on the bike.

Great day guys, many thanks :-)

Looks like you took the fuel sender off the old tank...you still got it, or has it been transplanted?

Thanks Steve :-)

Neeja - Which bits the fuel sender? Is it the one with a big brass bolt holding it in the tank or the thing with the two pipes, one for the fuel and one for the vacuum held in with two small bolts?

The brass bit going into the tank with the electrical connector on the end :)

typical, nope I don't have one of those, I have the other thing with the pipes. The red tank came from Quest21 so he may still have the sender possibly?

Bah.
Today I had to sort out the exhaust on the venerable passat, wash the new van, walk dogs, ferry children and I just about managed to start making the Trump shinier thanit has been since last year...

Tomorrow I have to build a pig house and then go to a party...

Abersoch next week though :D
