First Mum's Day without mum...:(

To all the Mum's out there, have a good one. And to all us orphans, remember fondly but go and have a blast.

Richie - my mum would have loved you !!

One of her pet peeves was people calling it Mothers Day instead of Mothering Sunday.

I got up early this morning - all ready to help the twins make Mrs Vox breakfast in bed - POWER CUT !!

Oh well, I think she enjoyed her McDonalds breakfast anyway ! :D

I told Mrs Richie to stay in bed this morning... No I need to use the bathroom. So she got up and I fell back to sleep. I now have a list of chores as long as you arm to do. including plumbing in the kitchen.
Happy Mothering Sunday.

aaaah. I didn't get brekkie as Isaac'sa at his dad's, but I got a phone call at 8.30am - "Happy Mother's day mummy. I hope you're staying in bed". Bless:sunny:

I got a lovely hanging basket from Dylan and a cute card. And somehow baby gave me an SV650 curvy card :-)
I've had coffee in bed, and breakfast is being made as we speak.
I did all my housework yesterday, so I didn't have to do much today. Whilst Peg watches F1 I'm off to see my gran.

Thats if I can get out of bed cause I feel puke.

Happy Mothering Sunday to all the mums of the .org, to all the mums everywhere. To the mums whose children are no longer here to say it themselves and to the children, however old that have to say it to their memories.

A worthy day indeed!

The shame of not having anything to present to my mother on the day :(

Go and give her a hug then!

Hugs appreciated, and free :-)

I did, she'll be getting something soon enough. Was planning on getting her something on the way back from manchester this morning/afternoon but my mates house got burgled last night and the cops wouldn't let us sleep so eventually came back about 6am. Bad times...

Oh dear thats bad.
If you don't manage it, she'll understand. Make her a cuppa with a plate of biccies. Tell her what happened. Mums aren't really bothered about cards and flowers on Mothers Day, but they do like just s smidgeon of fuss. :0)

My ten year old made a card and got her younger brothers to sign it (probaby had a gun at their heads:-))

Ive just taken them out for a long bike ride, quality time with them is the best present!

Happy Mothers Day to my mum, you're the best and I love you loads xxx

Bah. Humbug.

It always ends in tears in our house and this year is no exception.

There will be no Fathers Day in our house. Oh, no:smt067

Should have posted a reminder last week! Mother's Day is in May here and I always forget your date - so I'm going to be in the dog house with my Mom (again!)
