Looks amazing in HD. I love programmes like this. Rain that never hits the ground and wet hamburgers in the sky...lol

It was very interesting. I wanted to know more though! :p

Just as he was starting to explain what was happening he moved on to the next thing. The lightening coming from the earth was pretty amazing

I'll be watching the next episode for sure :)

Fantastic photography but i felt it lacked any real scientific substance so didnt hold my concentration.

Anyone care to mention the title of the program so I can watch it on iplayer at work instead of working? Ta. :)

Agreed - it seemed to be a case of:

"We have got this great new super-high speed camera, what can we go and film with it?"

had richard hammond in the title, therefore to me it automatically made me avoid it. the little pillock annoys me

shame. never mind, i've got my wonders of the solar system to stimulate my mind... :)

Yep - High-speed cameras and HD are made for each other. Stunning.

Much better than watching Chelsea, even when they get beaten

lightning going up the way rather than down to the ground!!!!

weirdIt happens even with the smallest strike. They are called tracers. I saw it on a programme once, so i am an expert in lightning

Was pretty cool. Got bored with the programme after 30 mins and started to watch 24

Just watched it. Cheers Viney. Seen something similar but far more fascinating on Discovery channel using high speed cameras. Got rid of an hour though. :)
