Something on the one show earlier got me thinking, what would YOU like on your headstone?
Im gonna give mine some thought and maybe use some inspiration from your posts.
Its your final say in life so needs to be worthwhile, apprantely getting less common now to have one at all.

I won't be having a headstone cos I am being burnt. and ashes thrown out to sea

However, if I was to have on it would have to read "Go on bitch, try dancing on my grave"

They allow people to have their ashes scattered at Lord's in the garden, but instead I want them to empty out the real Ashs Urn in the MCC Musem and replace the ashes in there with mine. That way every two years, 22 fit young blokes from England and Australia will be battling it out for 5 matches of 5 days each for the honour of winning me.

Surely more fun if you were still alive tho? :p

(although we might need a slightly bigger urn)

I'd rather my ashes were added to a batch of reefballs (www.reefballs.org (http://www.reefballs.org)). Possibly with a plaque on the shore reading, "Keith lies buried ten fathoms deep. If you want to dance on his grave, start swimming here"

Ideally this should be located on the coast near Gaansbai.

This is a duplicate of a thread from a couple of years ago I seem to remember.

Some guy who was involved with the Panama canal had "A man, a plan, a canal, Panama" which is a pallindrome.

Paul Eddington had something like "He did no harm"

John Le Mesurier had something like "conked out on <date>"

I think something to make people smile would be nice, silly little things like

"... and another thing.."

or

"While you're here, ..."

or

"No, I'll be alright in a minute."

'I always liked the underground'

' it was all going so well then i had to Die '

' A 44 Magnum you say, yeah, i'll make your day '

' Here lies a punk that made his day '

' Those sleeping tablets, was it 2 a day or 30 '

or to quote Frankie boyle
