I'm new on the forum and would love to know if any meets go on in the Wiltshire area?

This should be starting again soon, Monday night at the below pub normally has a big biker turnout

Wilts seems to be a bit of a quiet area for SV's.

Wiltshire Bikers meet on Thursdays near Castle Combe and they are trying to get a Friday night going in Trowbridge.
Quite an active club with an official ride out once a month and a few more as well.

Im from Marlborough, tis a nice area! With good roads and loads of local pubs tucked away down country roads! ;)

Lovely area... I used to drive there to blat about and annoy the pheasants (and peasants) in my noisy bright red Westfield.

Now I've growd up I ride my noisy bright yellow SV :D although the pheasants cause me a lot more concern now !

Really like the roads South from there heading towards the Salisbury plain.

Look forward to catching you at a meet sometime.

I'm (sort of) in Devizes, but life is a bit complicated at the moment.

Know what you mean about all those tucked away country pubs. I don't think that I could visit them all in a lifetime.

and i dont actually like the look of the bubble ones in afraid so i wont be going for that one, i have seen a black one 150 miles away and its fully faired which is what im after,

im getting rid of the cbr because its a 98 carb model, with a manuel choke and no fuel gauge, its a brilliant bike and has cost me a lot to get it looking nice but its time to upgrade i think.

You're after a pointy then.....be prepared for much ribbing from Squirrel_Hunter when you meet him. If he gets too bad though, just ask him has he blown an engine up recently? ;-)

Until the SV Org gets a local meet, how about joining us at the Black Horse in Trowbridge on Friday nights.
It's a new meet but we had about a dozen at our first night two weeks ago.

The pub is on the Southwick road out of Trowbridge.

Hi all, i notice that a few of you are fairly local to the devizes/melksham/trowbridge area... anyone up for meeting at a market place in any of them and taking a blast down to the lysley on a monday night?? it would be good to meet some local sv riders :-D

This bank holiday Monday is not good for me as I'm on a Wiltshire Bikers ride-out down to Mudeford Key.

This may change if there is a big Wiltshire Bikers ride-out but nothing planned as yet.

It's a good little commuter bike. Very stylish and there are plenty of aftermarket bits and bobs out there for it.

Bank Holiday Monday is not looking good now, sorry chaps.

I got carried away at the pub recently and said I would go on a 28 mile walk to "keep somebody company" not my best idea, but she has very long legs :-)

It's a charity walk, they are doing 131 miles in five days and I said I'd go on the last day.
I suspect that if we are finished by 7PM I'll just be wanting to eat and sleep.
