Nice one thanks m8, I'll have a look tomorrow, I have a feeling thought that these will protect the frame but not the fairings, I think they maybe a bit short?

I had an 35/40mph off a little while ago with these fitted on my bike and also the bike was dropped on its side when I first got it, grrr.

Both times the bungs did a good job of protecting the engine and radiator. The main casualty would be the indicators if you have the standard ones on. They stick out just a little too far and when the bike falls on them the fairing breaks where the indicators are mounted to it. The solution would be to fit aftermarket indicators which would be smaller and not as likely to hit the ground.

My worry with them though is that there is a chance they could damage the engine mounts. The bolt holding the bung on would bend, which is what they are meant to do to absorb the impact, but because they have to be quite long to give sufficient protection, this design means they can bend too much and in doing so could do damage. I was lucky in my off as the bike fell on smooth tarmac and slid to a halt, but if the bung hit a pavement or a cats eye or something the sudden shock could do a lot of harm.

Of course every crash would be different but hope this helps you out! Sorry for the war and peace reply:D
