onwards towards Clitheroe and home just over 100 miles, bloody hell love the induction noise that starts just befor 6000rpm and just gets better, not had her fully opened up yet as the roads had a lot of gravel and crap all over the place. ps The gearbox is lovely too it just snicks in and so is far smoother, bring on the sunny days.

Lovely bikes the, between those and a vfr for touring and fun it would be a hard choice.

As for the fish, I fecking hate lion fish, I once got seperated from a boat in the red sea by a couple of crazily territorial pair of them. The poisonous spikes at the end of each talon thing can pierce a wet suit, which is bad news when your only wearing shorts.

G haha, have been on two dive trips to sharm, there are loads of lion fish there, you have to look where you put your hands and feet, millions of those black urchins as well. :D

Are they the race cans you have there? if so the first sprint i test rode had them fitted, louder than standard?. Although i found out today when the bike is fully warmed up the sound from the standard cans produces a lovely burble on the overrun :smt026

They are trident cans - 3 individual carbon cans. They are road legal, with the baffle in - my baffle is on a shelf in the garage ;-)

Few more pics here - CLICKY (http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=146098&highlight=sprint)

Having had a SV1000 before with remus cans (60mm outlets) I thought the sprint was bit too quiet as standard, not any more lol.

Hell yeah, at the hotel we were in it was pretty much a 0.7km walk in knee deep water to get to the proper shoreline/drop off. That whole walk was a maze of hundrens of black spikes. Great tanker wreckjust off the edge... Was a bit daunting as we had been warned several hammerheads had been seen lurking at the reef another .5km from the shore in the same week.

Amazing place for under sea adventures. Sorry for the derail :p

they are still fascinating though, but i did make sure i didn't get too close to them.

i was up the coast in tabba and there were whole reefs of just them. made sure i only looked at them from afar.

same where i was, but there was a jetty thankfully so i didn't have to run that gauntlet. well worth the effort for the sealife that's there. would really like to go back one day.
