And I'm not on about brakes, I'm on about the dribbling village idiot competition type...

I keep seeing it cropping up that people buy lowered bikes and then notice that the tyre fouls various cycle parts under compression.

Is it so much of a difficult concept that the suspension must be free to move through its full stroke from topped out to the bump stop without interference?

Fair enough it usually fouls the fairly chewable number plate or undertray, but it's only a matter of time before someone hurts themselves when the tyre tries to eat a steel bracket or something and spits you off.


For fooks sake the bump stop around the shock shaft is there for a reason.
