Many thanks to Bigbaddad I have my new seat cowl. Fitted it in the snowy wet & windy weather this morning. Finishes my SV off quite nicely. Think stainless nuts & bolts are going to be the next thing on the list of mods

Cheers muck. The arm is still giving me grief, but its coming along slowly but surely. It's put paid to racing at the mo, but should save me some money. I know its a while ago but did you get fixed up with some bar end mirrors? I might have a pair for sale now lol.

Re bar ends. I didn't in the end mate, I got a new mirror holder for the standard mirrors and some extender arms on the way. Many thanks for the thought though Mister C :D

I like those seat cowls, I had the same on mine the only draw back was they didn't use the seat release but bolted into place, this can be addressed with an old rear seat base cut down and attached with that expanding builders foam, restoring the key release feature.
Cheers Mark.

Thanks Mark, I was trying to work out how I could do it & you have answered my question. I have a spare pillion seat, looks like its out with the hacksaw this afternoon when I get home from work.

Indeed, perhaps these will help, the back tab needs to have the angle slightly changed, makes it work better, you can see where I've used a soldering iron to adjust it in a couple of places.
