The damage looks ugly and the bike doesn't look too good either :)
You've foobared another skid lid!
Did the bike hit the wall?
Cymraeg_Atodeg
01-04-10, 09:51 PM
I was turning right and was moving to go around a car, opened the throttle, wheel span up, bike moved left, trying to straighten the bike up as a natural reaction I opened the throttle more and got spat off, clipping the back of a car with my front wheel for good measure...
I think it was a mix of wet road, cold tyre, bus route, road paint and Thou' torque levels

Sorry mate ignore me, didn't spot the steering damper thought you had a 650. You really don't want to put 650 forks on it.

I was thinking more USD forks from a GSX-750R to smarten up the bike, but, if there is too much work might as well do the same ones again for cost and effort saving

GSX 750R, you mean GSXR 750 [/pedant]
you need forks, yokes, discs, clipons, spindle. You can keep your calipers and maybe wheel too but not sure about that.
Dave20046
02-04-10, 02:59 PM
I have a feeling a set of thou forks will be easier and cheaper than chris's list above.
Not sure what the performance difference is but it'll be closer than 650 to gsxr no doubt.
yorkie_chris
02-04-10, 03:00 PM
Yup. And same performance except for discs 10mm smaller... which is neither here nor there.
