Have i missed some new law were car drivers are allowed to try and knock you off your bike for cash prizes or something? Was out for a few hours today and it was like being in death race 2000! All ages too not just the nova crew but oldies and families in people carriers either cutting me up or trying to drive through me, its got me wired i tell you.. and breathe. Anyone else had a fun ride today?
their all out too get you just be paranoid and expect them too be utterly ****ing stupid and you'll be reet.

I had a "discussion" with a van driver who pulled out on me. It was a main road, national limit with loads of view available for him. He just cruised straight out! I could see it coming, he didn't look at me as he approached the junction, so I was ready to avoid him.
Just hope his mirror works when he bends it back!

Oh yeah i forgot to add van drivers to my list, caught up with van that pulled out on me and he said its not my fault im lost! So being lost makes you forget how to use your eyes etc! Grr
Just because its the Easter Hols they've all let their brains have a holiday too.

Yep Bank Holidays are a sh*tty time to be on the road.
When I was young and inexperienced it seemed that every driver was trying to kill me all day every day. Now I'm older and know how to ride properly, I find there are very few times when I have cause to take avoiding action or find myself in a potentialy dangerous situation

+1 Experience is a big factor, its gaining the experience thats difficult when everyone seems to be aiming for you. :)

Try and ride the bike like you've a bloody great fence post across your shoulders, or it's 8 feet wide. If you act like a massive weight, people seem to notice you.
Or play the "what if" game, but this requires going round slowly, asking "what if that van pulls out? what if that dog runs across the road"
Like Lozzo said, the way you ride affects how people can see you, and you can see them.
Get thyself on a Bikesafe course, they help with stuff like this and assess your riding. Was a great help to me.

Yeah a lot of it is anticipation, experience etc.
However bank holidays fill the roads with ker-NOBS!

Yup Easter Hols, joy oh joy. I suppose thats one good reason for not riding at the mo, less chance of getting barged at :-)
Doesn't mean I can't give the shaky fist and w&nker signs from the passenger seat tho ;-)

Spare a thought for them - they've been dreaming of this since their New Year alcoholic stupor started to wear off!

"Everyone's trying to kill you"
Worth keeping in mind when on the bike.
Geodude are you out and about tomorrow?

I shall be staying away from this as my tires do not need to be seen by the police at the moment :0)

No, but one person with p*n*s-obstructed vision in a BMW X5 tried to force me off the road in a lane, his wheels were muddy, not mine though! Lucky for him I was on my way to a date with the petrol-station, or I would have followed him home. I've never come across such a rare breed of self-abuser on the roads before. :smt075
Plenty of grockles out too. Don't bother with South Devon, unless you like going at 35, waiting for a chance to pass, and then meeting another.
