just thought i would post up a quick hello to you all.

i'm zach, 21, from trowbridge, wiltshire.

currently have a 98 cbr 600 (first bike) but im going home on my lunch to sell it :)

im going for an sv, pointy (apparently), and im looking for a fully faired one preferably in black and under 3k.

im trying to add a picture in of my cbr so bear with me

Zach, following on from our little chat in the other thread....have you looked on autotrader bikes section? I had a quick glance and there are lots of good examples on there within 100 miles. :-)

edit: Can't see any fully faired black ones :-(

i dont know if i can buy an unfaired one and buy the lower fairing at a reasonable price and add it on or whether i just have to buy a complete one

I waa wondering that too as there's a very nice black half faired one on there at £2,700.

just notice a 2005 sv just sold for like £2500 in classifieds on here, thats seems a lot cheaper than other older bikes are going for, is that because the other are advertised too expensive?

Thats sounds about the right sort of price to me really, I bought my 54 plate in August for £2400

people on trader and pistonheads are asking loads more for their bikes. i'm gonna keep an eye out on here.

my cbr has now gone, £1700, and i have extra to go to another bike waiting now

cheers guys,

and i loved the cbr, was nice bike, very comfy/reliable/nippy, just fancy a change, and hearing my mates sv makes me want one! plus im after something that isnt stupidly fast, my cbr was more then enough for me, also comfy, not too heavy, and looks awesome,

i think i have chosen wisely :)
