I've been wallpapering my stairs and need to know if there's a specialist building term for part of the process.

I want to find the illegitimates who plastered the walls with curves in every direction, give them a rinse then hang them out to dry on an electric fence by their scrotums. Is there a proper term for this process??

Keith.

Line it with heavy grade lining paper first or is that gonna double your workload? lol

I don't think there is a proper term for it...other than hanging wall paper or something along those lines. Why do you need a proper term anyways? Writing a fancy letter?! ;)

Already done that, then sealed it to stop it sucking up all the paste.

The wall I hate most is the one facing you as you go down the stairs. It's clearly made from two bits of plaster board at different angles, with a 1/2" taper at the top and the bottom too, so you can't match it to either of the sides properly. Ended up papering it a separate panel with no match on either side. :(

Now all I want is revenge on the people that built it that way.

I've been wallpapering

Well then you too deserve this treatment...

give them a rinse then hang them out to dry on an electric fence by their scrotums.

Haha, we recently did our hall stairs and landing, what a pain in the buttox that was, plaster and paint is the way forward.

little bit off topic, but i was at a job recently where i was doing a progress report, walked in one of the rooms and thought it looked a bit dark in there, looked at the drawings, and one of the plasters had boarded over the roof light, when asked about it he said he thought it was for the attic.

thing is it was in a block of new build flats, the top flat to be fair to him, but nobody uses the attics in these places as there is too much insulation in them.
