Hi,

I'm planning to go to BSB at Brands tomorrow, however found out today my bike is due for its first MOT today, making it one day overdue tomorrow. I'm not sure if its worth the risk of a £60 fine? and im not sure what the police are like a these sort of events either.

Suggestions?

Oh, I could drive aswell, but seeing as when I went to motogp last year in the car and waited in the queue for 4 hours to get out, I'm really not keen on the idea.

In my experience theres always plenty of police officers at BSB / Moto GP et all, they are normally focused on ensuring the traffic is flowing etc etc rather than looking for road traffic offenses, but should you give them cause to stop you / or they decide to, well you have no MOT.

Personally I'd not risk it and go in the car. Rather than spend time fretting over whether I was going to get pulled over or not....

IIRC Brands is better for carpark access etc than Donnington is.

I'm not gona take the risk I've decided, for two reasons. 1) We have VIP parking so hopefully getting in/out should be easy....er. 2) My luck at the moment is awful, having got 2 punctures in one day (one on my 2 month old rear tyre  and then one on my bicycle tyre, which i needed to use due to my bike puncture).

Hey-ho, i'l make up for it going to the gp in summer.
