ok my bottom yoke is heavily rusted, has any one had any problems with this ?

seems unusual that its the only bit on my bike that's decided to rust its self  the rust im talking about is not just surface rust its the kind that eats into metal :/

also how easy is the bottom yoke to remove i know you need to remove two locking ring things, what tool do i need for that ? (link plz) im not going to skimp on tools after the oil filter saga i had (thought i could drill and use a bar to twist it off how wrong was i..)

im going to be droping the fork off so so thought i might as well mention it on hear

EDIT or should i sand the bugger down and spray it and my top yoke black then clear cote them both, K3 pointy

Spray it with silver wheel spray. errr hang on, I'll have a looksi what its called, covers it up nice :-)

edit....had to go through an entire thread of mine to find that

Simoniz five wheel silver, and yess, if you mask it all off proper like you can do it with the bottom yoke on the bike......best done in enclosed space for the wonderful floaty feeling!!!

NOT.
