Shoulda spent some more money on a softer one? lol

Buff it with some leather protector.

are you not meant to lie down in a bath of cold water with it on for half an hour, then carry on wearing it untill it's dry? sure i read that somewhere.
Either that or smear a liberal coating of marmite on leave to dry then brush off, job jobbed imo.

i've been doing some googleing,

tumble dryer and shoes for about an hour seems a good shout, just put it on half heat,

also saddke soap or leather conditioners

Hey in the old days, having a worn in jacket meant just that. The older looking the better it looked.;)

" just put it on half heat, "
Did you buy it 4 sizes too big?
Wouldn't recommend ANY heat.
Roll it up in a ball & challenge local chavs to a game of footy. Result - well distressed jacket!

i dont think i can turn the heat off though,

wat about in the washing machine on a spin cycle? would any water go in?

How to waste £130 - put it in the tumble drier...

Just wear it. As much as poss, even to bed:D

Or, I'll borrow it for a week, it will be a different garment I give back to you:D

Never tried it myself but have several mates who swear by sleeping in new leathers to break them in.

Old tumble dryer...
No heat...
some rounded pebbles and a slow speed for 24 hours.

or you can wee on it until totally soaked roll it up and hit it with a branch (cave man approch) , Thats how we used to break in our new ill fitting boots :0) but not with a branch. if this one helps your jacket will smell of wee wee and you will loose friends quickly :0)

Above procedure can also be accomplished by buying a BMW:)

Down with the places selling pre-distressed jeans.
