Looks like you had a good day for a rideout :)
Yep, was good. Little bit nippy and a bit blowy in places. Never thought I would actually say that I would have enough riding for one day but yes, now I am home I'm knackered!!!
Was a real confidence boost though, managed to lean alot more in the corners and definitely getting quicker. Even though the boys kept the pace up I can say that I held my own.
My thanks to Wideboy and Mej for an awesome day x

yarse very good day, good pace pretty much no chicken strip so big  and my suspension just gets better... well pleased :mrgreen: and Amanda you have got alot faster over the weekend...... but your still not quick enough ;)
cheers to MEJ for the route, was awesome as usual......... zig zag hill was a bit of a let down tho, amount of hype that place has got....... i thought it was sh!t  plus having a hot drink forced on me at compton :( i don't do hot drinks!!
oh and cheers Amanda, you saved my **** twice in a weekend and a full biking weekend because of it, thank you!! x:smt056
Hey I'm comfortable at my pace which is why I let you overtake me. I let peeps do their thing and I do mine. For me its a ride not a race. You are a bit of a loon but in a good way x

Well said, everyone should take this stance
Hahaha That wasn't suppose to be a lecture!!
Chris has been riding for 5 years and likes to ride by the seat of his pants. I couldn't keep up with him if I wanted to and he wouldn't want to ride at my pace either so we do our own thing and catch up when we can.
I thought today went really well for everyone really.
I've just got to say....

Thats slander, chris rides within the speed limit at all times.;)
Who said that?????
Hahaha - Gavin we did that knuckle thrust on the ride!!!
yeah cheers for a good day.
Always good to ride with you Gav as i know you like to keep the pace up (bike looks good and sounds awesome, makes me miss the twin a bit). I was impressed with ur riding Amanda, no problem keeping up at all. I thought it was good to follow Chris every now and then when he blasts off, and have a good pace, not that I could keep up with him. lol
glad you enjoyed the route, got a few more that we could do some time, or we could just hunt the good roads as there are a fair few in Dorset, i think generally zig zag hill sounds better than it is, would prob be good in a nippy little car, but not that great on a bike. Least we were lucky with the weather.
Have to say im loving the thou, awesome bike.
few pics.

You're on the wrong bike, you want a little light bike, a super moto or something similar, then you can really sling it around. Its quite fun in the car though. Its OK until you go that litlte bit to quick into a corner and then you have nowhere to go and end up in the hedge, seen plenty do that..

I stopped in that lay-by last summer! Just above Abbotsbury. Beautiful part of the world.

This is just up the road.
If you go to Lyme Regis, stop at The Town Mill Bakery (http://www.townmillbakery.com/index.php) There's space for ten bikes outside and really good, home cooked food inside. It's our favourite place to eat.
