The friend who sold his gsxr750 to mej not 2 months ago is now selling the bike he bought with the money.
The 1999 Yamaha is totally custom, Fastbikes have booked it as a feature bike in September I think he said. Its honestly stunning a real no expense spared custom build. k-tech and ohlins all over it a blue and white pearl-essant one off paint job plus about a million other tarty little bits and bobs.
Even if your not interested in the bike as a purchase take a look at the ad and see the pics and its specs cos its luuurrrrrvvly.

it "should" sell especially with the sun out but you never know. To say he's only I honestly cant believe what he started the bidding at, considering what he paid for it he's got his eyes trained on a skyline at the minute for £3000 having just passed his car test. Obviously he expects this auction to sky rocket with bids, it'll be at squires at the weekend if anyone in the region fancies a glance at it.

Ya dont need a licence to get insurance, my car was insured before I had a licence. I assume its still the same theory which applies.

I dont know how fast a standard R1 is but I've been out with him while he was on this he let me disappear off into the distance (a good mile down the motorway he had completely disappeared out of my mirrors) Then it was a total now you see him moment. He wasnt there, looked forward to over take a car went round the car and then checked again and he was right behind. VERY QUICK!

yeh my dads old r6 from the same year was quick enough so i could just imagine that thing would fly
"Brembo brake servos"?
I presume he means the master cylinders, in which case the rear is from Brembo (Yamaha Brembo, not proper Brembo) as standard, but the front shown in the pictures is definitely a standard fit Nissin item.

you sure? its not like i go around memorising brake calliper manufactureres lol but im sure I remember seeing brembo written on those front ones. You seem pretty confident so i believe you'll be right and if you are then I'm glad you've written it here I'd rather people viewing it from the org knew what they were getting. I dont want it coming back on me if its not exactly the same as whats listed on ebay. If its an expense thing an you jus think its unlikely to be the expensive option then I promise it will be the expensive option, I've seen the recipt for that paint job and its over £2000 even the wheels are pearlessant painted.
Dont know how that comes across lozzo, but I am grateful if you've pointed out a misgiving. I just re-read the first bit and I cant word it so that it doesnt sound arsey.
