mobile fones

is it just me or do other people not give a fek about mobiles.

i couldn't give two hoots to the marketing ploy and use my phone for 'calls'.

set yer phone to vibrate and stick yer phones up yer arz, much more pleasure as far as i'm concerned.

ha ha. Phones these days are a lot more than just phones. Modern Smart phones are almost getting to the point of replacing laptops, and imo probably will fairly soon.

Different people get pleasure from different things. I do enjoy being a geek.

As others have said phones are much more than phones these days and alot of the tricks they do are really useful.

Just a few examples.

Camera and video recording for them unexpected times. good for if you have a bump on the road and need to take photographic evidence .

Email access when ever you need it.
Internet Access when ever you need it.

GPS logger. I can go out for a blast on the bike with my phone in my pocket and when i get home stop the GPS logger upload the file to the pc and import into goggle earth and other programs and see what route I took, how many miles I did, average speed, Top speed , Altitude ect ect ,

I can even control my music around the house with my mobile phone changing tracks and altering the volume.

and there is lots more but i would be here all day ..
so yeah phones are no longer just phones any more hence the term Smart phones ..
Because they really are smart ;)
