As titled, I have an Acewell ACE-2803 for sale. Comes with box and instructions plus magnetic bolt and pick up sensor for speedo (never fitted). I'm looking for around £70 posted, first class recorded.

You have to use the instructions to match up the wires on the clock side with the wires on the bike side, the other half of the connectors are connected to the bike will get them off tomorrow and get you a pic if you like.

Fair enough, so it does need wiring up to my bike. No big deal. I am interested as I was when you were first breaking your bike. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place between buying a new headlight and front plastics, or going the naked route as I have now.
So I either spend money on this speedo, or new pastics.

Ah yes i remember now. Tell you what i'll do, take lots of notes/pictures (what wire goes where etc.) before i disconnect it all so it should be simple to wire up. Call it £65.....

It's pay day in 2 days, I'll weigh up the money situation and give you a shout. £65 certainly is cheaper than £200 odd.

Oh! I was looking at Acewell site at the speedos for ideas when I get my bike, just wondered if you can wire up the Acewell to use the bikes sensors ok, like temp, fuel, and speed etc or do you have to use the Acewell sensors ?

For the speedo it seems to use a magnet and reed switch, so it's an on-off type of signal. I'm not sure how the standard SV speedo drive works, so I'm not sure if it can be used or not.
As for fuel, it'll almost certainly use the bike's standard signal. Same for temp. Although this particular model doesn't support any of those features.
