I am currently riding a Gen 1 Fazer1000. I suffer terribly with my back and legs but I still manage to ride my bike occasionally.
Even when the pain is manageable though I am very weak in my left leg.
I am quite short leg for my height 5'9" my inside leg is only 27" and I worry about the weight of the Fazer and I am thinking of changing it and having an SV instead.
Is this a good idea?
I have always liked the pointy SV but have never sat on one! I am currently off work again with another slipped disc, I have had my back operated on some time ago and have had 5 vertibrae reprofiled to try to make the discs more stable. I am really worried that this time I may have to have them fused together. Although I am quite OLD (some of you will think I am ancient at 54) I am not ready to give up biking altogether.
Thanks Guys hope you all enjoy the summer when it comes.
