It's true!

I'm sure he works in Manchester! (http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Strange-News/Monkey-Police-Macaque-On-Patrol-With-Thai-Force-To-Help-Improve-Relations-With-Muslim-Separatists/Article/201004115591175?f=rss)

And with a name like Satisuk, maybe he'll get the Canal Street beat?

And before anyone complains about the costs, the pay is peanuts...

Haha, sounds like the same principal as when the Iraqi's hid military stuff in Schools. Put a monkey at every checkpoint and nobody will want to blow up the cute wee monkey. :p

'Trainers taught Santisuk, which means peace in Thai, to pick up coconuts and he now lends a hand collecting the fruit with residents.'

Quite a few nuts in Manchester;)
