Oulton Park - Bemsee

Took my new camera for it's first outing at the Bemsee meet at Oulton Park today. Awesome weather has brought a little sunburn, but was an excellent day. Some pics below, not brilliant by any means, but used today as a trial and error session with the cam:

Great pics!
In the penultimate pic though, does it not look like the guy (orange and black bike, white n black leathers) look like he is about to go head first into that barrier?!

It does, I hadn't noticed :D. They were taking a funny line through there after a SV blew it's engine and left oil on about 300 metres of the racing line. Was carnage as 5 or 6 bikes following all highsided on it :(

And there i was thinking i must have been doing something wrong when taking corners trying to avoid head first collisions if the racers do it :cool:

Am surprised race wasnt halted if that many riders had big spills :o

It was red flagged and the next race was aborted after 2 sighting laps so they brought forward the lunch break to clear the oil. They had blowers out to blow away some of the cement dust stuff :D
