I have 21/08/2010 to 12/09/2010 booked off work... just got to decide what to do and where to go from now till then!
I'm thinking of a trip to France but nothing planned / booked yet.

I have a couple planned.
Ireland on June 4th.
The Glencoe Massacre Rideout last week in June,
On holiday for two weeks somewhere in July yet to be booked, probably Gran Canaria, but that's sure to involve a day or two's bike rental.
Then I'm going to Portugal on 13th August, and now have to decide between flying and borrowing a Chinese 125, or riding my XT600 down through France and Spain. Looked at ferries to Santander and the robbing barstewards want 800 quid for one person and a bike. I only have a week to spare so four days riding is an issue.

Off to Jerez a week tomorrow.
My trusty, magic carpet with a rocket up its airse GSX1400 and a bud on 99 CBR600F.
Glasgow - Stafford Travelodge
Portsmouth - Santander (Now only 24hr crossing, thanks Brittany Ferries)
A wee scatch through the Picos and down to Salamanca.
Salamanca - Chiclana, 20 mile south of Jerez to stay at a pals house. Meet the women folk who fly in (maybe!?)
Friday saturday sunday at the GP and nightime nonsense.
Up at 3am monday morning to blitz the 600mile back to Santander for last boarding at 3.45pm (not looking forward to this bit apart from riding into the dawn which is always cool)
Portsmouth at 5pm and maybe find digs for the night somewhere and a final ride back to Glasgow.
Reckoning about 2200mile. We were thinking of taking flatpacks of cider down with us but this will be more likely be Red Bull!!:p
...and a trip to, err, Mull with the missus on her Viagra535 in July.
I'm already planning next years 2 weeker. Maps on the wall a week after I get back.:)
Just want to GO NOW!

Sounds sweet - what's that mileage? how long you taking to do it, not including chilling time.
I'm off to France/Spain in September...wish it was closer though!

He's got youth - should kick any gel seat into the bushes.
Going somewhere sometime.
Don't know where (San Sebastian?) Don't know when.(When I have some spare cash)
End of May would be nice though.
Currently planning a trip to the Black Forest for August/Sept this year.
This is attempt 2 as my mates bike broke down when we attempted it last year.
