Dark red Honda (I think it was a Honda, I'm still learning all the styles of bikes) which followed me (10 plate white V Strom) from Guildford down the A3 about 6ish yesterday. Then filtered passed me through the backed up traffic because of a car accident, and then I saw you lying in the middle of the A3 and your bike on its side. Didn't see what happened but must have just missed it - hope your ok :(

Also... bright yellow curvy about 8am this morning. Stopped at the lights on the A3 roundabout next to me and waved to a bunch of kids on a minibus. Was that you?

It was a case of following my heart, not my head and I am so glad I did.

I have always wanted a Triumph Tiger, don't know why, they are not particularly pretty bikes. Once, I found a Triumph dealers by chance and they were nice enough to let me sit on one. I rocked up on my YRB with L plates, clearly no intention of buying a bike, but they were very nice guys. I couldn't even lift it vertical off the side stand, or reach the floor (oh and the price tag heh) and I realised this wasn't the bike for me and started looking at cheaper but similar bikes.

Then one day I noticed Suzuki doing finance deals and it was a choice between a spanky new SV or the Wee Strom (the new bike of my dreams), and I remember thinking sod it, you only live once - get the V Strom :p

If I'm honest, the first time I started it up and was about to hit the road I thought what the hell have i done, this bike is far too big for me... but after two months of riding it - I don't care if its an old mans bike I love it ;)

I sat on the SV for the first time in 2 months and it felt so small and light, it was weird. I know I'm not an SV rider anymore, but I still love my old SV, that bike gave me the confidence to try something bigger. Svs rule :D

P.S. There was nothing in the news of a biker killed on A3 the other day, so hopefully Mr Red Honda is just a bit battered and bruised - but alive to ride another day :p

And Mr Yellow SV in Cobham - spotted you again, but I guess your not on this forum.

If you're in and out of Cobham often, look out for a black Triumph Sprint RS - that'll be me :) I work in Anyards Rd and commute daily from Kingston
