[UPDATE] BOTH ENGINES NOW SOLD.
I have 2 pointy engines taking up space in the shed that I had planned to strip and repair but I don't really have the skill or the inclination to. Would probably make a good rebuild project for someone or as spares for a race bike.
Engine 1
This is the original engine I had in my SV (K3), which was damaged when I knocked it off the stand. The oil filter mounting bolt has sheared off taking some of the casing with it. I have a spare replacement casing (bought from this forum for £70) which is also for sale. All internals were in fine running order before my stupid clumsiness, it is literally just the casing that's damaged.
Approx 13k miles
Missing both side covers, generator, starter clutch, all hoses / wires.

I'd like £200 ono for this engine and the spare casings.
Engine 2
This is the engine I bought off ebay to replace the one above, which I had in the bike for about 1500 miles before it started knocking. The mechanic reckons the big end has gone on the rear cylinder, so it will need stripping and repairing.
IIRC it was listed as 11k miles on ebay but I have no way of confirming this. If someone knows a way to work out the age of the motor from the engine number then I can let you know how old it is.
Complete engine including pipework, starter motor, oil rad, and 2.5 litres of oil :)

I'd like £150 ono for this engine.
If you want everything above then I'd take £300 for the lot.
Both engines are pick up only from North Manchester.
Questions welcome, cheers.
