View Full Version : Lowers or Bellypan?
Hi All,
I’m looking to put either a bellypan or fairing lowers on my curvy next month but I’m having trouble deciding.
For the lowers it’s between skidmarx and powerbronze. I’ve only seen 1 side of the powerbronze and haven’t seen any of the skidmarx for the curvy.
I looked in the gallery and the lowers on maviczap (http://forums.sv650.org/member.php?u=5878) and Phoenix (http://forums.sv650.org/member.php?u=2360) bikes look nice. I’d like to know who made them.
For the belly pan the only 1 I’ve seen that I like the look of is by skidmarx.
I would really appreciate any better pics on the above lowers and bellypan.

Neither, spend it on something useful like tyres, suspension upgrades or petrol!

Thank you very much :rave:
Mine are Suzuki genuine accessories, but at hard to get hold of. Mine were blue, but sprayed to match my bike. I waited ages for some to turn up on evilbay.
If you're quick Dave Preston has some for sale in the SV & other bits section. Although you must have the brackets to go with them too.
Never seen powerbronze ones or skidmarkx fitted to a curvy
The Suzuki OEM curvy ones are made by a Dutch company and are still available, but are expensive! But you can buy the fitting bracket and other bits seperately from them.
So you could buy Dave Prestons even if he hasn't got the fittings. Have them sprayed to match your bike. Fitting kits were either €59 or €89

Each to their own :p
Hahaha maviczap (http://forums.sv650.org/member.php?u=5878) if there was ever any doubt about the curvy I think you just settled it. :p
Thanks for the advice and pics. Looks like I missed out on those lowers I’ll have to keep looking.
Thanks dizzyblonde, I like the look of your bellypan it’s just not the style I’m looking for.
I’d still like to see any pics of the other 2 if anyone as them fitted.
Yorkie_chris I agree with you that tyres, suspension upgrades and petrol are useful but to me having a nice looking bike is just as important.

Way I see it, guy who spent his money on petrol and tyres will be so far in front he won't care what your looks like :)

I dont know I could think of a good use of a latex spiky bra...they would match me bike
To me personally I prefer the curvy, same way I like the srad gsxr over the newer 1s.
The bike is for me to ride and appreciate; I’m not making a show bike.
I didn’t say I wasn’t spending money on good tires etc… just next month is bellypan or lowers month.
