Buses ****ing oil like theres no tomorrow.
Now stuck behind one at a bus stop, so stopped for all of 30secs and when it pulls off theres a big thick patch of engine oil about the size of a dvd box.
And a nice long string of it for about a mile aswell.
How does this not get noticed as its obviously losing alot of oil or some one must complain ( i already have ).
Seriously hacked me off as if i hadent been paying full attention both wheels would have gone through it and id have been off!
GRahhhhhh
Ranting done.

Yowch- a potential death trap.
Have you reported it to the bus co?
Was it wet, one tiny drip could end up DVD box size if so. If it lost an actual DVD box size in the wet the it would break down around the corner.

Took up about the same area one would which is why i was horrified!
Wet and steaming so right out of the bus's behind!
Reported time and stop as i forgot the number, as soon as i got off the other end...guy on the phone sounded rather disinterested though.
Was just outside Teddington

Are you sure it wasn't AC condensate?

Black and thick that it held a bubble like shape and light wouldn't penetrate it.

Riding back from college. Fuel in great huge spats about the size of a manhole cover, right across the preferred riding line all the way home. I dunno what on earth was driving along those roads but it must have one hell of a fuel tank to last that long without running out.

Muhahahahahah
Next day 100% the same bus just around the corner from where it dropped a load of oil it was.....
Billowing smoke and stuck at the side of the road!!
made me smile all the way to london.
Most road users in vans buses etc couldnt give a **** about other road users. I see huge vast patches of oil on the roads up here all down the middle of the lane.
Glad the damn thing broke down.

Vehicle Offence 0870 6060440--report with reg no and name of company.
This can result in a fleet inspection which is time consuming and expensive for the company concerned.
