Ideally those who have a doner set which they use to strip parts from as I dont need the whole unit but could really do with the bolt on electrical connection at the bottom. One of the connectors in a pin and the 2nd is a flat thing which attaches via a bracket.

Was cleaning the curvy pair last night and noticed the pin connector was quite literally hanging off, tried to super glue it back on but as its sprung when I returned it had obviously broke free as it was no where to be found.

Anyway I need it ASAP so if you've got one let me know I could honestly do with it posting today first class hopefully so it'll arrive by tomorrow morning.

I think they are the carb heaters, so not really needed this weather and possibly haven't worked for sometime anyway.

This thread might be of some interest though

Cheers pete,
I didnt know what they actually did, at least it'll run without them connected then. It'll need sorting ASAP though as the new owner is storing it outside.

They will likely make no difference to that either!

Hello mate,

I have a spare set of restricted carbs in very good nick but i dont think the carbn heaters are there. As Yorkie said they dont really make any difference at all....they are so tiny that their effect is more superficial than actual....

Awsome, they will both be removed then. Does anything need to happen to the connecting wires? Will just tied up and taped over be fine?

Yeap, just make sure the connectors on the loom are water tight.
