At 5ft 11 the standard foot peg postion gives me a wierd pain in my thighs when on an extended ride. Does anyone else find this.

Was thinking of getting some gilles and lowering a bit. Does anyone else suffer with the same?

Unless you particularly want to spend loadsamoney on blingy bits, buy some footrest re-locator plates instead, much cheaper.

Can't say that I experience any pain at well over 6ft.

Have you tried regular leg stretching? Can sometimes be that your body needs a bit of refinement, rather than the machine, so to speak - and best of all, it's free! :)

naked sv hangers are a good fix for this as they are lower by design than s models, also rear sets will raise the peg height up and back, you can get plate adapters which when swaped around lower ans back the pegs

Or foot pegs from a Buell. Cost me £20 and made the pegs about 1.5 inches lower. As for the pain, sounds like cramp.

Maybe concentrate on relaxing more on the bike, and I mean REALLY concentrate. My legs get all spazzy and locked up when I get tense and hurt. It becomes second nature after a while.

I get cramp in my hips after long rides, im getting too many little niggles now hence why im looking for a bigger bike.
