After a four week lay off, too many aches and pains, I played this afternoon.

Typical very windy day on a links course.

Gross 74, 2 over, nett 68. Back to 5.0 hcp.

Not bad for the old fat cripple.

Org golf day anyone? (especially whilst I'm on form)

Nice round Bri, I was round my cousin's earlier and he'd grossed 76 today, he was particularly pleased as Woods posted a 79 :) (obviously not at the same course!)

Binky and I have played golf together a couple of times, I believe it's 1-1 on games, need a decider soon!

I'd be up for an org golf day :)

Played "pitch and putt" which is the same thing but with less clubs, yes? ;-)

I play, but not against people who get scores like that ;)

Have yet to break into the two figure barrier so count me out (as I'm far too jealous)

good round bri. i'm off for my first round in 18 odd months on friday, handicap is 8 but i tend to play very well after a lay off so hopeful i can beat the lads i'm playing against. when i play regularly i start thinking about it too much and psyche myself out lol

used to play, found getting the ball through the windmill really hard so gave up. :D

No idea what hcp I am as never played anyone.
I have a set of golf bats in the garage so might have to get them out this year for a round or two.

I joined Lamberhurst golf club this year after leaving golf at the age of 18, 6 years ago when I played off a handicap of 10. Looking to finally get to single figures! Anyone ever played Lamberhurst? LOvely course!

I used to play a lot 10 years or so ago, then got married lol.
It is the most annoying and the most rewarding game in the world.
I now play 3 times a year if im lucky, spent a fortune on some new kit and hardly use it.
When i have more time on my hands i will get some coaching as i can hit a ball off the tee quite a way when i catch em right, sometimes even further than experienced 12 handicappers.

Never had a golf handicap. I play when the weather's nice, so not a lot through the winter and if I can shoot around 80 off proper tees on a "proper course" I've had a good day of it. Recently acquired the best (and cheapest) clubs I've ever played with, a couple of old Ping Eye2 fairway wooden-woods, 3 and 5. They're incredible.

I live very close to St Andrews and see too many folk with all the gear and no idea. I have been here 4 years and only been on a driving range here once.
