As above are people going to any this year?
I went to the IOW last year which was fun, I'm thinking of going to Bestivle this year which on the IOW in September the weather tends to be awesome that time of yr as well.
Lovebox in London-Victoria Park is also ace too, been there a few times Groove Armada
live are just brilliant thats good. Loaded in the Park is meant to be ok too, howver I have never made it there casue I generally have to work which isn't much fun.
So any other suggestions, or new events that have started up worth looking into? Yeah I know there is Reading ect...however when your spending about $350 per w/end more than one becomes quite a lot!
(why aren't I out on the bike, simple have to work soon sigh!)

I'm going to a local (but pretty big) festival called Trowbridge Village Pump festival. It's going to be amazing :D
I would be working at Glasto again this year but i'm on tour with a band.

I wanted to go to Bestival this year, but can't unfortunately.
None of the other major ones really interest me TBH.

It's absolutely amazing!
Me and a friend got our shift through his family friend who is the acoustic stage manager, we had to do the graveyard shift (3am-8am) but that was fine as we didn't miss any of the music :D
Was very different workwise to the people who do it through charities or whoever. We sat on the artist's gate for our shifts and had bonfires and got ****ed up :D
We barely slept really, during the day it was too hot to sleep so we just went round enjoying the rest of the festival!

A the Village Pump Festival - one of my favourites. I've seen some brilliant music there over the years. Haven't been for about three years though. It got a bit too big I think, when they swapped the main stage over to the other side of the river

My bike might be going to Glasto. Mr LPH had planned to go down there on the bike with some mates until the XJR got written off. If he hasn't got a new bike by Glasto then I have said he can take the SV. As long as he cleans it afterwards.
Anyone going to V?

That's why you make your mate Steve drive down in his car. He gets stuck in traffic for hours but you get beer and your tent carried.

There is no such thing as too big when it comes to festivals! Despite there being over 10,000 people for the past few years the atmosphere hasn't really changed at all! As it gets bigger they're only going to bring more stuff in. Bit of a win-win situation I'd say :)

I've just booked my tickets!!!! First time going for about 4 years. They've got a new stage I see - in a natural ampitheatre of all things. I can't quite work out whereabouts on the site that will be.
I'm so excited :) :) :) Maybe see you there Spikey??
