SOLD PENDING MONEY TRANSFER

HCJ FS-10 (Full) Carbon helmet in medium for sale.

I bought this helmet 3 days ago after trying it on LOADS of times in the shop. All seemed fine but now I've sat at home in it for a while and admired myself in the mirror it's clearly going to bother my poor little delicate ears. I have literally only worn it in the shop and around the house so it has been well looked after. It comes with a deluxe helmet bag which is padded and has a couple of pockets. Also included are the nose/breather thingy and removable chin vent.

It is a lovely lid and I REALLY wish it fitted properly. The internal visor is a nice addition which means you don't have to carry another visor with you when it threatens to be sunny.

For sale for £170 or reasonable offers. I will pay postage.

I will also send the receipt along with it should you ever have a problem.

Wouldn't it be cheaper/easier just to cut your ears off? Have half a bottle of Absinthe and suddenly you'll think you are Van Gough and it will seem like the most fantastic idea you ever had!

different manufacturers state different sizes for XS/S/M/L/XL, whilst a Medium might well be enough for a T shirt size, I'd want something more definitive before buying a helmet, generally the size in mm is of more help, but Hey I'm not selling it, just thought I might help :smt102

Cheers Mark.

Yep! In Thailand they let you play with guns. And I brought myself back a very stylish flick knife.

i doubt you'd be able to. even if a helmet looks like it's still perfect you never know and a company i can't afford to take the risk of someone doing unseen damage to one and then the next person to buy it dieing in worst case scenario. if you see what i mean?

he has been pretty busy recently and i'm sure will get it emptied enough soon as i know he wants to sell it fairly quickly.

No decent shop will take a helmet back once it has left the shop for safety reasons. If you drop a lid from a metre onto a carpetted concrete floor it can show no outward damage, but be rendered useless and only fit for the bin - naturally, I don't want to sell a helmet like that to another customer who might lose their life because the dropped lid failed to save their skull from being damaged.

I have put signs up in my shop saying no exchanges or refunds are possible on any helmets, and I certainly wouldn't buy a helmet from any shop that did do exchanges on helmets after they had left the premises. In our shop we all ensure that every customer is happy with the fit and finish of the helmet before we put it back in the bag and box prior to them paying and taking it home.

The best way of ensuring a customer doesn't want to return a helmet is by making sure they are sized up properly for it in the first place, hence me and the other staff will always spend a few minutes with every helmet customer showing them how to do some simple sizing up tests and making sure they know what to look for when trying helmets on before buying. Once they have chosen a helmet we do the checks ourselves and advise as necessary. If someone insists on buying a lid that is obviously too big we make a point of telling them right away that we're not happy with the size and making sure they know they won't be able to bring it back if it's flapping in the wind when they ride. 9 times out of 10 they will swop it for the correct size for their head - the other one will walk out of the shop moaning, which is fair enough cos we don't want troublesome customers anyway.
