Some on here will vaguely remember the World Cup 1998 - Sainsburys did a set of 'medals' for the England squad.

Well in clearing out a cupboard for moving house I've found a pile of spares. Got most of the players. So if you have an incomplete set gathering dust at the back of a cupborad let me know who you're missing and I'll see if I've got em for you. Freebs...

I can remember I had a set from 1990, they were giving them out at Esso garages.

There was a set for England and one for Scotland, for some reason everyone had a load of spare Alex McLeishs

Wish I had them now, they'd probably be worth at least a pound.

I was given full set in a presentation folder from the 82 or 86 world cup cant remember which, god knows where it is now though, probably buried in my loft somewhere, dont remember seeing it since i moved in 99.

Stick 'em on fleebay, you'll make more than make enough for a brand new Akro pipe.


Esso have started giving away some world cup collectable thingys, look like Johnnies (Condoms for those of you that weren't "about" in the eighties).

Also what you're telling everyone is you only clean your house once every 12 years.

Baschurch. It's a village in north Shropshire, about 10 miles north west of Shrewsbury. Can't wait to say goodbye to our neighbours:p
