ive been using a tech 7 magnetic bag for best part of two years, came free with a RIDE subcription, can fit a lot of stuff in there, it came with a rain cover but have never used it, it holds off the rain well for the 20/30 min commute and its not showing any signs off wear. look like this http://www.mandp.co.uk/productinfo/563256/Luggage/Soft-Luggage/Tech-7/Tech-7-Sport-Tank-Bag HTH

shame you missed the aldi ones i have one and they do the job only £20, may be worth keeping and eye out for them and lidl doing the motorbike gear again.

Thats great advice about lidl thats where I got my tank bag and waterproof coveralls too was an absolute bargain an have noticed they are stoking them again at the moment in my local lidl, but you do have to be quick. Think the tank bag was about 15 quid and the coveralls were bout 12, have had them both for about a year now and both have been fantastic.
