Just changed my car insurance policy to get a learner on the car. Premium went down 85p
That makes *no* sense whatsoever. Now I need to teach the girlfriend to drive :smt103

We can do better than that, Pegs insurance on the Freelander went down by £48!!!
Are they really sure they were correct to think I can drive a tank on L plates hehehehe

Now it's just a question of if I tell her she's insured ;)
I'll insure you too DB. That £48 would cover my parking ticket just nicely.

Go on, make her day.
Its funny I always knew a second driver on the policy made your insurance cheaper, but expected a learner to make it go up. I asked Peg over and over if he'd made sure they definately knew it was on L plates!

I think it's because you need a proper driver in car too. A different ball game to insuring a new driver with a full licence.
