Suggest you complain to the Financial Services Ombudsman. It's free and you don't need a lawyer.

What are you claiming for? I have had some loans but never been mis-sold one though, is it the payment protection stuff? I had a loan back in 2004 that I took that out on, maybe I can get it back :)

the payment protection then yeah maybe but if your trying to claim a whole loan back then, I don't agree if you took out the loan and you spent the money.

Pretty much spot on. Definitely didn't want it. Wasn't given an option. didn't spend it, the bank took it. The guy "advising" me wasn't qualified to do so and was fired by the bank shortly afterwards. I ended up with fees that were never mentioned and a loan I didnt want. ...and my debt increased by over 40% with not a single penny spent by me.

Because they had me over a barrel... or so I was lead to believe by the "Advisor". "This is your only option" When if fact that was complete BS. So my debt went up 10 grand in 5 minutes...

Turns out he was fresh in from a Mobile phone shop where the mantra is "Close the deal". Turns out Banks don't work like that.

Rather than Mis-sold, lets say I was "Misdvised".

Hence the need for a good solicitor.
