Was in the car with one of my friends last night, driving down a very quiet 40 road at about 50. Speed camera on the other side of the road (facing front of the car) flashed him.

Anybody know whether he can be expecting a ticket?

Cheers

Dave

didn't think the ones that flash head on did ( as in gatso )

Truevelos don't flash are infra red they do do you head on

One way to test if the flash was for him------try it on the bike[Forward facing]

I am joking of course

I used to set one off every day on the brum new road going towards Dudley, admittedly it was a dual carriageway but never had a ticket once and i must have set it off well in excess of 100 times.

If the flash was purple, it was a Truvelo. If it was white, I'm not sure what it was or if your mate has to live in fear of the postman for a while.

The way to find out is go and have a look.

I think it's illegal to be flashed from the front, might cause an accident.

regular tripped the one on the a3 hook underpass, never had a ticket yet!

So is speeding, for the same reasons ;)

Thought I'd read something along the lines of they could cause temporary loss of vision leading to accidents. Of course I have been know to be wrong before.
