Just been fiddling with my bike., sat nav and under seat storage and checking scottoiler and bits n bobs -prepping for self service ready for Gmiii

got all excited n looking forward to it as Mand brought me tea n biscuits..



and All I got to do is roll up and enjoy..


so just wanted to say .. we all appreciate the hard work, effort. Pm's phone calls. planning. trial runs. etc etc ... including added expense to some of you in organising this..

its an Epic weekend/stay on week and I for one and MAnd for 2 cant wait to be back up in your wonderful country ..

(if only to hear Grant drunk again.. aye ayee ayee ayee .. lol )

New set of Storm Ultra 2s going on tomorrow, service to be booked for sometime over the next couple of weeks, and then we just need to load up and head north for a few hundred miles.

Really looking forward to seeing a bit more of your wonderful country - all I usually see is the airport, office & hotel in Edinburgh.

We have booked a nice B&B by the harbour in Mallaig for a few days after, so hope to see bit more of Skye & the West Coast, and a run to see Nessie.

5 weeks tonight I should be at Quiff's having a beer, before heading up on the Friday. Can't wait (especially as I have 3 days at the MotoGP the weekend before :cool:)

wish I could attend, but its my Little girls 12th Birthday garden party Sleep over... Army 12x12 tent in back garden + 8 camcots.. with loads of screaming ill behaved other peoples kids........... :0( and also its my 17 wedding anniversary ( happily married so I over herd )... hopefully she'll forget, as I have....( Shush...)

Just serviced one of the six pot calipers on the gixer last night, other side to do yet. Bit of hose to replace, check oil level and ready to go. That is of course if she doesn't sell before then. If so, i'll hopefully be on a 1200 bandit :)

I know them Triumphs are slow, Matt, and you'll be heading up with the Quiff entourage too, but will it really take you a week to get to Scotland from there? :p

New rubber to be fitted to ours too. Not decided what to go for yet. Looks like we'll be travelling up on our own this year. Having the week after mooching around further north also :D

yea only me n matt and Uki travelling up this time.. adopt your stance of get there and enjoy the roads when there.. arriving at 9pm last year was knackering.. hoping set off at 10 ish after breaky pick up Uki at Knutsford and then tootle up with maybe 2 short stops and be there for half 3 ish all unpacked and beer in hand to watch everyone else arrive..
