had the stomp grips for a few weeks and picked up the exhaust off ebay and collected it last night

the exhaust only took 15 mins to fit the new one, the old one took me ages to get off
went out for a quick spin and its not as loud as I expected but a nice tone, tempted to take the baffle out and see what its like. But I think I will have to remove the exhaust to get the baffle out which is a bit of a pain

I am 27, with 1 years NCB, had my license for 1 yr 8 months now, but only a year when I got it. Depends what you count as ridiculous, I cant remember what I paid exactly as I paid it off in full as I just got a bonus from work, I think it was around £650 with all the mods declared, commuting, 5k a year mileage, pillion etc etc, was happy when I rang them today and they said it was no extra charge for the exhaust as long as it was less than 5% increase in BHP, the quoted figures are about 4% which I dont really believe
on the plus side is I can sell the bike for about 1k more than I paid for it, so 2nd hand values have gone up nicely, not that I have any plans on selling it

Looks nice

How much of the original system does it keep, that big box underneath?

no it gets rid of the cat and just bolts straight onto the headers outlet
