So.... as the title suggests!

I currently have plain old sky tv, no sport, no music. I have all the entertainment stuff and also discovery package. I pay around £35 per month thats with 20mb broadband.

I phoned sky a while back to see what they could do in the way of a free upgrade to sky+. They said I could have the box for free (usually £50 i think)but i'd have to pay £60 installation fee. I said what is the installation fee for as I can plug the box in myself...! They said that with sky+ an additional cable has to be run down to the box (which I already knew). I explained that my flat was a new bulid flat and already pre-wired for sky+. No, still £60 im afraid.

So now Im thinking about BT Vision as Virgin Media is not available in my area.

Does anyone have BT Vision? I know I can get the whole package for £20 per month, the only thing I am unsure of is what channels come with bt vision?! Ive done a few google searches but dont seem to tell me...

Cheers!

I think BT vision is an on demand service...might be wrong.

Edit thought so try http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/consumerProducts/displayTopic.do?topicId=24687

Looks about £40 - £60 depending on the service including, Line rental, Phone, Broadband and TV.

You get free view, ESPN for a one off fee. Then Movies, series etc on demand...no channels as such. Watch what you want when you want.....as they say. But some stuff you will pay extra for.

do not bother with bt vision, i had it, but it's a waste of money.
it's just on demand, with recorder box, with a few extra bits.
i worked out you get more for your money with sky on a basic package,

but is all down to what you want and watch/record

Personally, I'd get a cheap broadband package, freesat and a subscription to lovefilms and any sport you want to watch.....go down the pub.
