Decided it was time to replace the stubby I put on 2 years ago as a "temporary" fix  after an off

It was just too loud to be honest. I love the noise out in the country but in town it was a bit too much. So I ordered a new Fuel can monday night and it came today.

It's got a MUCH nicer sound than the stubby. A nice solid grumble, rather than the stubbies sharper snarl. Sounds much better at low revs. Although I do miss hearing it at higher speeds.

What do you think looks better?

But surely anything is better than the standard cannon it comes with?!
Do have to agree though that the new can is nice!

lol usually dont like any can that resembles the stock cannon, but the angle makes it look quite nice

I love stubbies, but for some reason yours looked a little wrong. I think it was where the strap sits. Still, for a "temp" fix after a scrape, it was a fine job.

Long Fuel can looks better imho.

What brand was the stubby before it was stubbied? I've been thinking of stubbying my Fuel.

It was a Fuel! A Fuel oval titanium actually. I know what you mean about the strap. It should have been further down the can.

Hurrah. It looks like a half blind asian boy-racer was let loose with a can of orange paint.

Looks a lot nicer. I stubbied one of my cans & just didnt like the sound. Prefer the deep grumble you get from a std sized can

I like the Stubby just the clamp should have been midway through the exhaust.

I think you should give ME the stubby =P. Is there such a thing as too noisy?

DarrenSV650S

The stubby has gone to a needy student who has already managed to loose part of it
