I've just been given a Samsung SGH F480 that is tied to Orange.
Does anyone know how I can unlock it for free:D to make it work with O2?

If you were given it by somebody on contract then Orange "can" unlock it for free for them. If they were pay as you go then there is a nominal fee.

Have you checked that its locked ? All the Samsungs i`ve had have came unlocked from O2 and Vodafone.

Either way you can get info on the internet for unlocking most phones on forums etc.

O2 and Vodafone don't tend to lock their contract phones but Orange always does. It's a pain in the bum hole!
