Horse has a name now

I'm thinking 'Missy', short for Mismatched on account of her mismatched socks :D Not very fantasy but it has meaning.

She's a gorgeous horse though, a real stunner. How big is she, looks a little on the small side, around 13 hands I'm guessing? I do prefer bigger horses, the last one I rode was an 18 hand shire, but we have some little ones down the road from us and they are feisty little buggers, very playful.

How about Maya, as in Maya Angelou.
Female, black, feisty, and you'd love some of her quotes....

Awww, lovely horse. Want a cuddle!

Not so great with names, but could find you a list of demonic names if that helps... :D

Hmmm not bad!

My two favorite of hers are:

If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude. Don't complain.

Nothing will work unless you do.

Sums up life really.

At least us 'old timers' can spell ;)

Heeeyyy, I resent that, I'm younger than him and I can spell :)

Oh, and I thought of another one: "Nuberu", a spanish spirit of the wind known as 'Lord of the Tempest'.

How about, "The Nag"?

I once had a cat called "The Puss" and when I was a kid my grandad had a dog called "The Mutt", "The Nag" just seems so appropriate.

Bellona - (Bellona is an ancient war godess)
Inanna - (Iberian Godess of love and war)
Czarny - polish for Black.

You could have her show name Czarny Storm or something. As you can tell, I've been on google...lol

Looking into the Darkness (http://demonslair.50webs.com/demonnames.html) I found a few for you.

Choronzon - demon of dispersion, guardian of the Abyss.

Delepitorae, Delepitore - (Unk) demoness of sorcery enlightenment.

Hecate - (Greek) goddess of underworld and sorcery. Queen of witches.

Metztli - (Aztec) goddess of night

Proserpine - (Greek) queen of underworld.

A black feisty horse needs a slightly diabolical show name. There is always Binky, Death's horse from the Diskworld!

Loves ya chic, have fun with your new lady.

got these from another web site.
please don't use this info as gospal as I've no idea how to name a horse.
I've never named a horse before but I think I can do it as it looks like an easy enough job.
If you do use this info and it doesn't help then I, or any other member of this forum is not accountable for your actions.

Screw the horse, what's her name and number? :p

The horse looked small because of the angle of the photo and the height of the hedge in the background.

Not too creative with names and not into fantasy films/books, so I'm not much use on that front (I'm more into fantasy re-enactment :smt112)

Enjoy the new horse though!

It is...I've been there and was going to name a mare I nearly had last year that...hence me not giving it as an idea for VT....hehe, sorry Jen.

I think Sedona should be for Chestnuts though because it is red rock country.....but you're right, it would make a lovely show name :-)

Hi, this is KitKats daughter Becky :) I'm doing a course on Equine Management and have been riding since I was six, your horse is gorgeous! polish warmbloods are niiiice, your very lucky.
Ive had a look at some names for you;

Ebony
Azeri - famous racehorse
Leilani - famous black horse
Zarcara
Kaala - black in hindu
Czarny - black in polish
Roheryn - means "horse of the lady" in Lord of the Rings. A fearless horse apparently :)

The famous horses names might be quite lucky :)

Show names should be fun, its funny listening to the annoucer trying to pronounce them! haha!

Good luck,

Becky x
