Welcome to the TVSF section. I work in Reading but live in Bradford on Avon so unlikely to see me at the local meet anytime soon. But maybe you could checkout the Bi weekly meet at the Shire Horse Pub. :thumright:

Hello and welcome to one of the friendliest groups around.
We meet every other Tuesday evening in The Shire Horse on the outskirts of Maidenhead, on the A4 towards Reading.
Tomorrow is a meet night so feel free to show up and introduce yourself. We should be there anytime from about 19:30.

Indeed it is a shame your putting your bike in to storage right now. I am struggling to get my bike back out on the road right now. I think it would appear we are going to have a long summer this year. Not really what you want to hear I guess, but non the less, I hope it turns out to be that way. :)

As it happens, Lisa mentioned contacting you regarding rides. She went out on the Kwak yesterday for the first time in a while. She knows she needs to get some miles under her belt before the AR but is struggling with confidence at the moment. What with you only being 8 or so miles down the road, she thought you might like to go for a few after work bimbles with her. My bike is still off the road and probably wont be on the road again until sometime next month. Maybe you could send her a PM

I will indeed PM her....I need to go out with people that don't shot off into the distance. It's great learning to ride from guys like Beenz, Squirrel_Hunter and Stretchie, but I've just kind of got on the bike and gone from nought to blasting around everywhere. Actually ground a bit off my hero bobbin when I got the right footpeg down yesterday, so I think I am tempting fate and need to calm down a bit. Well.....I have already actually, I rode well within my limits yesterday.....the peg went down on a nice roundabout. I'm thrilled I did it, but it's also a little scary as I've only been on the bike a week.

Also, I love Kwaks, so I can just perv at Lisas bike...lol
