As some of you know already, I am the Media Manager for MCC at Lord's Cricket Ground. MCC have just opened a new exhibition in our Museum called 'Swinging Away - How Cricket and Baseball Connect' which I am now doing the PR for.

If any of you have an interest in baseball and cricket and are in the St John's Wood area between now and December then I would be very happy to arrange for you to see the exhibition free of charge. Just PM me a few days ahead.

We featured on the Today show on Radio 4 this morning and the link below will give you a taster of what the exhibition is all about.

am a huge cricket fan and have been fortunate to see the mighty hampshire royals (or hawks as we used to be) win a couple of one-dayers at the hallowed ground, but have never had the chance to "look around" so hopefully will try to get up there for it. about the only chance i'll have this year judging by our woeful start to the season!! :(

I thought the correct name was 'Colonial Rounders' ?

The English invented baseball, fact. Then we decided to give it to the Americans to keep them amused while we went and played cricket across the Empire. Or something like that!
