Been inspired by this thread

http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=132033

I have 5 demi johns and wanted to brew my own bitter but started reading about it and the more I read the less inclined I became because I am just lazy. But I also like the idea of the Cider

So, anyone within my locality who does their own brew? Could I come and check it out please, the process not the product (unless you have some you want to get rid of)

I used to make my own cider at uni. What I did was get some apple squash in a pint glass about a quater full and then top the rest up with the cheapest Vodka the CoOp sold. Sorted.

Yeah but you drink Strongbow....

I like real Cider not that teeny bopper drinking in the park crap

It's only real Cider when there's bits floating in it... (before you ask no YOU can't add the bits)

Anyone had 'Janets Jungle juice'? THAT was a nice cider and my sister used to live 200 yards from West Croft Cider farm, the wasailings were GOOOOD, I took a gallon of it to AR07

I do believe Cuffy brews cider.

I'm sure I recall him saying he had both hands in cider, up to the wrist watch apparently.

Janets Jungle juice is evil! You think your fine drinking it then walk out into daylight and your in a world of trouble!

Nice though :)

He's right you know, also have pork in cider a couple of times a month.

The stuff i made tasted more of wine than cider, was bloody strong though, might have to get a couple more on the go me thinks!
