I bought these gloves from ebay (ridersbridgewater) which turned up today.
To me they look grubby, used and generally not new as I had bought them.
This is how I expected them to look:

This is how they actually look:

Should I bother? My mate says they will end up like that from new within a month anyway, but I'm not so sure that I am happy with that...plus I need gloves for tomorrow.

Look like white gloves to me. What do you expect?
Should have gone all black, instead of chavtastic ;-)

Dont they look grubby/tatty to you?
Edit: For instance, in the "as new pic", the whites of the glove fingers are as white as the knuckles. In mine, they are several shades darker.
Am I being too pedantic?

You bought them "new"? Not sure, I guess you have a decent case if you chose to do that...
you paid for new gloves, and you aren't happy. Send them back, I say!

It doesn't really come up well enough, in your pics if thats the case.
What you get in a promo come buy these lovely gloves photo, is all the lighting possible to make them gleem at you.
The plastic knuckles look very white, but then they will, white leather is never that white in the first place. Go find a shop that sells them and take note of the condition, then decide if yours really are that grubby new.
If they've been sat on a shelf, and tried on and handled....
But look at the knuckle armour. Its white white.
Look fine to me ya big tart

Hmm.
They came with just an elastic band thingy holding them onto a bit of card, and a creased up/torn booklet about the gloves with one of those thin plastic zip tie things through one of the wrist straps. Nothing on them that screams "I'm new!"
All in all looks like they have been around a bit.
Meh.

looks like they've been lying around for along time....

Could have been left in the sun a bit. Hence the slighty discolouration to the white bits. Try giving em a good scrub.

I think the answer to your OP is did you get what you paid for and are you happy with the price? If not send them back as misdescribed.

I saved about £5 off the retail price I think, lol. But you're right, at the end of the day I aint really happy.
I have sent these pics to the seller and asked them to comment.
Thanks everyone.
I'd want a refund. If I bought something new I would expect it to look new. They don't.

Well this was my train of thought.
I contacted the seller who said they were very sorry and would issue a full refund.
Reason for discolouration was because they had been hanging in the showroom for a while, but becuase it was the last pair of Size small they had, I couldnt get an exchange.

mmh i dont know.. i have white RST gloves and had them for a while now.. they still white (including the leather) and not cream as yours look. to me they also look as if "they have been around a bit" - as in laying on a shelf for the last 5 years.
if i received those as white gloves... i'd be sending them back .. cos white is white and cream is cream and black is black and u get the picture ;)

If you are not happy ask for a refund .... for a £5 saving I would have gone to my local bike shop and bought what I could see.
The thing with fleabay is alot of sellers are clearing old stock or have fake goods. The chance you take.
Good luck with the refund.

Apart from the cost of return postage I expect. That always annoys me.

eBay is getting worse and worse, it's becoming more of a scammers playground and shows no sign of getting better..
Another good reason to support your local bike shop.
I 99% never buy anything I have not seen.
I nearly always go to the local shop. Those glove look like they have been in a workshop where the mechanic smokes 40 a day.

I never by any bike kit without trying it on first. Gloves, helmet, boots, even jacket and trousers - it's kit that I'm gonna spend a lot of time in, and it has to be comfortable. I'm particularly picky with gloves - too small and they make your hands ache, too large and you can't control the bike properly.
I bought my latest helmet via internet. Saved me a tidy sum. I'll buy where I can get it cheapest.
On a seperate note though it does prove you are taking a gamble. The box the helmet came in had seals on it stating not returnable if seals broken. I am guessing had I opened the box and found damage to the helmet, I would not have been able to return it. But then I would not have been able to confirm if the helmet was undamaged without breaking the seals to take it out and inspect it.
It wasn't damaged so I'm happy. :)

+1 and they need your support right now!

I wont buy anything high value off Ebay unless its local and I can pick it up in person,or get one of my extended family to have a look for me.
As for gloves I bought a supply of several pairs for £5 each at the BMF a few years ago and I am still using them.
