Hi im trying to get the idiot panel to work on my vapor kit, so far the full beam light works when it should the neutral light doesn't and im trying to use 1 light for both indicators but now both indicators come on at the same time when i use left or right on the switch. :smt089

i have been told i wont be able to use 1 light for both indicators so will try two later. I have no idea if the fuel light works yet. I have seen curvys work with one indicator light on the vapor so don't now why k3+ wouldn't work ?

any one got any ideas, and just to double check, what i am seeing is that the blue and black wire if for the neutral is that correct

bike is a k3 naked

Sounds like a crossed wire. Get the haynes wiring diagram and retrace the routes

found out why the indicators are both coming on (the idiot lights are part of the loop and looping both indicators in to one light makes them short)

any way next and most important problem, im getting no power from the neutral light, but the gear selector is ok as the bike stalls when put in to gear with the stand down (gear selector is part of the side stand loop) so some where from the side stand relay to the front of the bike there's a problem, where the problem is i dont know.
I really dont want to strip out the wiring but looks like it might be my only choice unless i just cut the wire at
the relay and run a new piece of wire straight up to the front

Find neutral light wire where it normally goes to clocks, must be broken or bad contact somewhere.
I think neutral light just goes to earth... try earth neutral light wire at clocks side and see if it illuminates. (or look on wiring diagram for yourself)

For indicator repeater lights you need 2x diodes to stop repeater light turning both sides on.

i have been looking at the diagram lol, the neutral light wire (blue/black) goes to the side stand turn signal relay/diode's then from there strait to the gear position sensor and from the sensor there is a ground and a wire that goes to the ECU

so it goes. gear position indicator (blue wire) to the relay/diode side stand then out of that strait to the clocks using a blue/black wire some where along the line i think the cable is knackered

going to check for rubs on the wiring

PS the ground works as the other idiot lights work
PPS i cant be bother to mess around with diodes so will just run two lights and maybe make a plate that can hold another two lights

Much easier to solder and heatshrink 2 diodes than to make plate

looking at it your right, one small problem i have no idea what diode im looking for, i suppose i just need to get a power reading from the indicator idiot light and match the out put with the correct diode
